1. Who is eligible to participate in
the Plan? The contributions will be made to the Trust Fund
for all Employees working under Collective Agreements between
the Union and an Employer. All of these Employees will be
entitled to benefits upon satisfying the eligibility
requirements of any of the types of benefits provided under
the Plan. In addition, any officer, agent, or representative
of the Union may participate if the Union voluntarily makes
contributions on their behalf.
2. When do I become entitled to receive a pension benefit? After January 1, 1998, if you have a period of
continuous Plan Membership, then you become entitled to all of
your earned pension benefits in the Pension Plan. Continuous
Plan membership is a period of two consecutive plan years in
which you have completed at least 350 hours worked.
